If you are a University of Florida Alumni and are looking for exposure throughout Miami-Dade County as well as with the University, becoming a Gator Club® of Miami board member is for you! Becoming a volunteer board member gives you the opportunity to reconnect with Gators that you may have lost contact with along the way by assisting us in organizing some of our many events year round. It is also a chance for you to enlighten all of our young alumni with what it means to be a Florida Gator after leaving UF. If you are a recent graduate with minimal work experience then this will be a great opportunity for you, as you will work with seasoned veterans in varied career genres.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:

- VP of Communications - Treasurer

- VP of Academics - Secretary

- VP of Athletics - Young Alumni Coordinator

- VP of Outreach - Volunteer Coordinator

- Gators for Higher Education Liaison

If you are interested in any of the above positions or would like to be a sit-in board member please fill out the application here. You must be a current University of Florida Alumni Association (UFAA) member to be on the Board of Directors as well as commit your time for a full term [one year]. The 2013-2014 Term begins on July 1, 2013.

Gator Club of Miami Annual Scholarship Award!

For all incoming Freshman accepted to the University of Florida!

Please complete the Scholarship application packet here and postmark it by June 1^st 2013. Any Scholarship application packets postmarked after that date will not be considered. In addition please be aware of the following important points regarding the scholarship process:

All scholarship application forms, materials and information must be sent together in one envelope. We cannot accept, nor consider, any forms, materials or information that is not submitted together in one envelope with the original application sent.

Incomplete and/or late applications will not be reviewed or considered.

All scholarship recipients will be notified by June 30th, 2013

All scholarship recipients will be presented a GCOM Scholarship Certificate to be handed out at an event this year (before the Fall term begins).

Eligibility:

The Gator Club® of Miami Scholarship Endowment Fund Program is limited to:

Miami-Dade County high school students who are enrolled at UF for the 2013 summer term, 2013 fall term, and/or the 2014 spring term.

Disbursement:

All funds will be placed in the University of Florida Foundation, Inc. for distribution to scholarship recipients during the Fall 2013 term and the Spring 2014 term.
